WINTER GEAR
LAYERS
- Top layer : down goose jacket or synthetic heavy duty, you need it to keep you warm !
- Middle layer : middle shell will keep you insulated in the winter and will be secondary layer for when you overheat.
- Base layer : long sleeve shirt or hoodie
BOOTS
Boots in the winter is necessary. Good boots make a happy camper, we suggest insulated or winter boots,
An other trick is bringing boots 1 size bigger with double socks or wool socks.
TOQUES / HATS
Believe it or not your head is the most important to keep warm. You will appreciate a winter hat and a neck warmer to keep your head, neck and upper chest warm.
ADDITIONAL GEAR
In winter it is nice to have 2 sets of gloves, a light weight pair to do stuff in : take pictures and a heavy weight pair to keep you warm while walking or snowmobiling. A back pair is a nice extra to fit your belongings into.
