Its important to have a heavy duty Winter coat, weather its down or synthetic, its important it will keep you warm. A middle shell will keep you insulated in the winter and will be the secondary layer for when you overheat. A base layer (long sleeve shirt or hoodie) is needed to keep you clean, dry and warm.
Boots in the winter is necessary. Good boots make a happy camper, we suggest insulated or winter boots. Another trick is bringing boots 1 size bigger and where double socks or wool socks.
Believe it or not your head is most important to keep warm. A winter hat will keep your head warm, a neck warmer is also a cozy addition that will keep your neck and upper chest warm.
In Winter it is nice to have 2 sets of gloves, a light weight pair to do stuff in; take pictures and a heavy weight pair to keep you warm while walking or snowmobiling. A back pack is a nice extra to fit your belongings into, however we request you bring a small packsack for Aurora Tours because of space in skimmer for transportation.
We do not rent out gear, however under certain circumstances we may bring and give gear to you, so the elements don't negatively affect your Winter Adventure. We want you to be as happy as a Horse!
